The collaborative bill sticker teases the team up of Koichi and Deku , the two champion of their respective serial publication . Both Koichi and Deku are huge All Might fan , and would in all likelihood get along great if they were to meet . However , apply the divergence in the configurations of the two series ( about 5 years ) , Koichi would be active when Midoriya was still in primary schoolhouse , meaning any such squad up is improbable to actually take place . Still , the ikon alone is pretty exciting for fans , and they can always desire for some non - canonical coming together in marketing for the two series .
Do Deku and Koichi Ever Actually Get to Meet?
The Two Heroes Never Truly Cross Paths
My Hero AcademiaandVigilantestake place in more or less different time periods , and due to the mode each series ends , the two Heron never actually get an opportunity to meet . Koichi does have a small cameo inMy Hero Academia ’s final chapters , helping make clean up the aftermath of the last battle , but does n’t encounter Deku in the manga . Koichi also meets several people that Deku recognize , including a brief encounter with his mother , Inko Midoriya , and his teacher , Shota Aizawa , who has a fairly large role inVigilantesand get to know Koichi well . It ’s definitely a bit of a pity that Koichi and Deku do n’t in reality get to encounter canonically , but it makes gumption that they would n’t inevitably encounter one another , given the very different worlds they endure in , with one a vigilance man and the other a hero student . There ’s also a time menses difference to consider , and Koichi is be a very different life by the metre Deku is dynamic . Therefore , seeing both in action on this poster is an exciting tease , and perhaps some day the connexion between the twoMy Hero Academiaseries can be deepened by having Koichi meet with Deku under proper portion .
