Moya ’s Starbust did n’t always work . If she was stressed , damaged , or tired , the power was unavailable . Similarly , Starburst was n’t inexhaustible . While it could be used to retreat to what would hopefully be safety , Moya would take time to rest / recover / recharge before she could Starburst again . If their new , randomized localisation turned out to be just as unsafe as the one they ’d left behind , Moya and her bunch had to do up with some pretty creative maneuver to keep themselves alert .
Moya’s Organic Nature Avoided Other Starship Tropes
