Shalash is one of theHeralds of the Almighty , and we ’ve image her a decent amount throughThe Stormlight Archive’sfirst five volume . That said , as a POV flashback case , she ’s easily the one we know the least about . Her behavior throughout the five books has stand for that she ’ll be a compelling character to follow , with her ego - loathing qualities creating a captivating contradiction in terms to her much being a deity . Seeing more of the Heralds in flashbacks is exciting , but I ’m not as thrilled about Shalash as anyone else just yet ; peradventure I just take to read more of her !
The Stormlight Archive book serial wo n’t be done for at least twenty more class , but that leaves clock time for one major thing to be ameliorate .

My impression on Lift as a character ranged throughout Arc 1 , but I consider I ’ll find her more consistently pleasurable as an grownup .

Book 10
Jasnah is one of my absolute favorite characters inThe Stormlight Archive , so I absolutely have some bias in want to see her as the serial publication ' final POV flashback character reference . I observe Jasnah to be one of the most compelling personality in the series date back toThe Way of Kings , and I was disappointed that she had a reduce role in practically every other novel . Hopefully , Sanderson will rectify this with book 10 .
Two of my favorite pages from Wind and Truth foreshadowed who the most exciting protagonist will be throughout the rest of The Stormlight Archive .
Jasnah suffered a major frustration against Odium inWind and verity , and this will be weighing on her mind for a long time . She ’s not a character who handles being outmatched well , especially not in a conflict of sound debate . If Jasnah is the concluding POV character , then she ’ll beThe Stormlight Archive’sfinal fighter , and that mean there ’s something special in the works for her .
