Martin Was Thrilled To Combine His Love For Theater With His Love For Procedurals

Jesse L. Martin : Oftentimes , one of the best thing about being in a skillful show , and particularly in procedurals like this is what variety of actors you ’re able to draw in to play characters . Jesse L. Martin : Alec did n’t find comfortable being in the play . He sing in his earlier life in college , but he was n’t that guy . He was n’t a " let ’s get on leg and do this thing . "
Karen David : Whereas Rose was just a small too activated . Again , MI6 , when we were talking about Rose ’s backstory right from when I start last season — she would ’ve go to dramatic event college . And in her nous , this is , again , another opportunity where she does n’t have to be herself .
She could be someone else , and that ’s her comfort zona and her sense of escape . So for her , this was just very , very exciting . But also , I cogitate this particular instalment is an eye - untier too , because this is the first time that Alec is doing hole-and-corner spy work , and he ’s really really good at it . But Rose has to recollect that that ’s not who he is . He is not a prevaricator at all .
Jesse L. Martin : Alec is very good at reminding you too . It ’s not what I do . But again , love makes you unreasoning , and you just do what she says .
