Fiyero’s Antics Show Why He Isn’t Fit For Shiz University
Though Fiyero has been kick out of several schools , he express that he has n’t learned anything from his mistake by the fourth dimension he arrive at Shiz . As he babble and saltation with Glinda and all the other students at Shiz during the melodic number " Dancing Through Life,“Fiyero expresses his nihilistic but lighthearted philosophy inWicked , particularly with these lyric :
" Dancing through life history , no motivation to tough it / When you could exuviate it off as I do / Nothing matters but knowing nothing matters / It ’s just biography , so keep dancing through "
With this song , Fiyero shares his belief that because nothing matters in the high-flown dodging of thing , life is only deserving more if one savor it and does not worry about the insistence of thing like school or work . He also sing the lyrics,“Life ’s more painless for the brainless,“which does n’t just convey how unthinking and carefree he is . It also foreshadowsFiyero ’s transformation into the Scarecrow inWicked : For Goodand his development into a hero who takes up greater responsibleness to facilitate protect Oz .
