Gabi Butler : I definitely feel inclined , but when we got there and got told that there was live on to be a steering wheel system , I was like , " ooh , okay . "
Screen Rant : That was a surprise .
Gabi : Yeah , it was . It was a very handsome surprisal , but honestly , otherwise , I felt as disposed as I could have .
Louis Russell : I felt prepared until the first challenge . Yo , as presently as I got in that damn kayak , yeah , and I could n’t suspire . I ’m like , " oh , I ’m not ready for this . Gabi : I thought it sucked . I was not a fan of the cycle at all , just because I ’m like , if we ’re really physically fit , if we ’re really mentally , you jazz , interlock in , if we ’re good with everybody , that now does n’t matter . It takes one bad twisting and you ’re out .
Joseph Louis Barrow : I ’ve puzzle bad hazard . So when I heard that wheel , I was like , " there ’s nothing I can do . I ca n’t alter my circumstances . Screen Rant : Gabi , we check kind of how your background help you in the game . Do you call back it work against you in any elbow room , though ?
Gabi : On the forcible side ? No , not at all . I retrieve it definitely helped , but on the mental side of things and the psychological side , I in spades do n’t guess it aid me . I was very excited , peculiarly when it come down to the balloting process . I remember it was very tough because I am such a team role player . Like I ’m the eccentric of person that my squad , I will , we ’ll all be running , let ’s say , and I ’m the person that run to the team member in the back that ’s struggling and pushing them and being like , " hey , arrive on , let ’s go , you may do it . " So I ’ll do anything for my teammates . I ’m a very large drive or die type of a somebody . I do n’t care to wander people , specially on my own squad . So when we had to vote [ the great unwashed out ] , I would have vote for myself every time [ alternatively of someone else ] , but that was n’t an choice . That was the sucky part .
Screen Rant : That ’s rugged , especially coming from that team brainpower . Louis , we ’ve understand a slew of different side of you on your past reality tv set appearance . What do you call up was different about the elbow room you perform on Battle Camp ?
Louis : Well , flirting was n’t really a good option . So , that ’s probably my main creature and I could n’t really use it . It ’s emphatically like a weird , eldritch place to be in , and even though it was weird , I had a great time too . Too spicy To Handledidn’t help in the slightest . It had nothing in coarse with Battle Camp . Except for when Bri Balram walked in , and then she was in my seam . Other than that , there was no crossing over . So I ca n’t really compare the two on how it helped because it literally had nothing to do with the same thing .
Screen Rant : They ’re completely different side of the coin , so that ’s apprehensible . Both of you had really emotional , surprising eliminations . go into those moments , did you both finger safe that night or those nights ?
Gabi : Going into elimination , I never really feel safe just because plain I do n’t get laid what everyone else is thinking . One minute you could be really close with somebody and be like , oh , this person ’s all catch my back . And then the next , it could be wholly opposite and you ’re like , whoa , that person in reality is the one come for me . So I do n’t retrieve anybody feel safe at any point unless you literally won a challenge . I was still stressed , even when we won , I was stressed for everybody else because I ’m like , oh my God , I do n’t like this .
Joseph Louis Barrow : Such a squad actor .
Gabi : It ’s a great affair , but it ’s a bad thing when it comes to stuff like that . Yeah , it ’s hard .
Screen Rant : Last question for you both - would you encounter something like this again ?
Joe Louis : Yeah , turn tail it back . Run it back .
Gabi : I would . No , 100 % . I would do it all over again with that same grouping because I felt like I just got to know everybody , and it sucked because I had to go so early . I like I had more time with them . Maybe we can get another season of this and just bring back the same , bring back the people , but without the wheel .
Louis : Gabs , you literally manifest your elimination that dark . I remember being , I think back she was like , " I ’m go . " I ’m like , what ? She ’s like , do n’t worry . I ’ve get this brave face , but I just got a intuitive feeling . I ’m like , you ’re not run anywhere . She went , well , got put up once on the wheel . One name . One .
